Release: FPS and tower defense hybrid Sanctum 2 hits XBLA and Steam

Coffee Stain Studios' FPS/tower defense hybrid sequel, Sanctum 2, makes its way to Windows and XBLA this week for $14.99. The sequel boasts a more exciting campaign to tackle with four different characters, spread across 15 varied and gorgeous maps, aggressive enemies, and lots of new weapons and towers to upgrade.

Sanctum 2 on Steam has a $15 discount if you buy the 4-game pack. The store page also lists a Season Pass for DLC at an additional $11.99. The XBLA version is live now, and Joystiq reports that the PSN version will be live "soon thereafter."
